Montem Leisure Centre

Montem Leisure Centre is one of the regions largest leisure centres where you’ll find lots of fun for the whole family.

Montem has won national awards for its quality health and fitness facilities and is also accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative for its service to customers with disabilities.

Montem has two sports halls and three squash courts which can be hired out for racquet sports:   

• Badminton
• Squash
• Short tennis for young children

Montem has many multipurpose spaces that are available for private hire. The sports hall can be hired out for special events and has tiered seating for 250 people.

Courses take place throughout the year for gymnastics and trampolining.

Herschel Sports

Herschel Sports has a large indoor sports hall that has been designed to Sports England’s standards for indoor sports. In particular the sports hall has been equipped to a national standard for badminton and indoor cricket.

Our state of the art facilities include:

• Badminton (6 x courts) in the indoor sports hall
• Tennis Courts (4 x courts) on our ourdoor all weather floodlit surface
